Environmental Permitting

Environmental services are provided to ensure that every development activity and natural resource utilization runs sustainably and in accordance with statutory regulations. This service covers the preparation of AMDAL (Environmental Impact Analysis), UKL-UPL (Environmental Management and Monitoring Effort), KKPRL (Marine Spatial Utilization Activity Conformity), and PERTEK (Environmental Technical Approval) documents, prepared based on technical, social, and ecological studies.

Environmental Permitting

AMDAL and UKL-UPL documents form the basis for issuing Environmental Approval, which contains management and monitoring plans for impacts on physical, biotic, and social environmental components. Meanwhile, the KKPRL document ensures the conformity of planned marine space activities with national and regional marine spatial plans, and PERTEK is prepared to provide technical recommendations on wastewater, air emissions, and hazardous waste (B3) management in accordance with environmental quality standards.

01

Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL)

AMDAL is a scientific study that aims to identify, predict, and evaluate potential impacts arising from a planned activity on the environment. This document is an essential basis in the planning and decision-making process so that development can proceed without causing significant environmental damage. AMDAL preparation is required for activities with a high level of environmental risk, requiring thorough analysis of various aspects, from physical and biotic conditions to socio-economic factors. This study is also part of the main requirements for business licensing and large-scale development activities.

02

Environmental Management and Monitoring Efforts (UKL-UPL)

UKL-UPL is prepared as a form of business responsibility in managing and monitoring environmental impacts from medium-scale activities or those not classified as mandatory AMDAL. This document serves as a guide for activity implementers to ensure all activities remain controlled and in accordance with environmental sustainability principles. Through UKL-UPL, every business plan is encouraged to implement waste management steps, environmental quality monitoring, and impact mitigation from the planning to operational stages.

03

Marine Spatial Utilization Conformity (KKPRL)

KKPRL is a document that ensures planned activities in marine areas conform to national and regional marine spatial plans. This document is required so that every use of marine space, such as port construction, reclamation, marine aquaculture, or exploration activities, is carried out in an orderly, sustainable manner without causing space utilization conflicts. Through KKPRL, business actors obtain legal certainty over the location and activities to be carried out at sea, while also supporting integrated coastal and marine area management. This study is an essential basis in the marine-based business licensing process.

04

Environmental Technical Approval (PERTEK)

Technical Approval (PERTEK) is a technical document required for business activities that generate wastewater, air emissions, or hazardous and toxic waste (B3). This document ensures that all activities meet environmental quality standards and implement effective pollution control. PERTEK preparation includes technical analysis of waste sources and characteristics, treatment capacity calculations, and recommendations for meeting environmental quality standards. This document may also cover additional technical aspects such as traffic impact analysis (andalalin) or non-B3 waste management as needed.
