Services
Hydro-Oceanographic Modelling
Modeling is carried out to scientifically simulate marine conditions and dynamics as a basis for planning, management, and decision-making across marine and coastal sectors. This service covers hydrodynamic, wave, sediment transport, water quality, and dredging-dumping modeling, developed from survey data and calibrated against actual field conditions. This modeling is carried out to the latest technical standards to produce accurate and reliable output as a basis for coastal zone planning, port design, feasibility studies, and environmental impact analysis.

01
Hydrodynamic Modeling
Hydrodynamic modeling simulates current patterns, tides, and sea surface elevation due to wind forces, pressure, and water-land interaction. This model is an essential basis for marine circulation analysis, port planning, reclamation studies, and tidal flow assessment in coastal areas. Modeling is done using Delft3D-FLOW software, calibrated against field survey results and secondary data from trusted sources such as ECMWF and Copernicus.
02
Wave Modeling
Wave modeling is used to describe the propagation, refraction, diffraction, and breaking of waves in open and coastal waters. The results are used for coastal structure planning, wave energy analysis, and shipping safety assessment. Modeling is done using Delft3D-SWAN and can be integrated with hydrodynamic models for more comprehensive results.
03
Sediment Transport Modeling
Sediment transport modeling aims to understand the movement of bed and suspended sediment due to currents and waves. This data is important in port sedimentation studies, dredging planning, river mouth stability, and coastal management. Models are developed using Delft3D-SED.
04
Water Quality Modeling (WAQ)
Water Quality Modeling (WAQ) is used to predict the distribution of water quality parameters such as DO, BOD, nutrients, TSS in marine, river, or estuarine waters. This model supports waste impact analysis, AMDAL studies, and water ecosystem management. Modeling uses Delft3D-WAQ software connected to current and sediment models.
05
Dredging & Dumping Modeling
Dredging & dumping modeling analyzes the distribution of dredged material and the hydrodynamic impact generated during the dredging and sediment disposal process at a given location. This model helps determine safe dumping locations, minimize turbidity, and assess the potential spread of sediment on marine ecosystems and shipping lanes. The modeling results form the basis for technical planning and environmental studies of port dredging, shipping channels, and coastal infrastructure development.
06
Reclamation Modeling
Reclamation modeling is used to assess changes in water dynamics caused by land reclamation activities to form new land. The analysis covers changes in current patterns, waves, sedimentation, and water quality around the reclamation area. The modeling results form the basis for technical planning, environmental impact mitigation, and sustainable coastal infrastructure design.
